Cadiz, completely surrounded by the sea, is a peninsula situated in the extreme south/west of Andalusia.
The oldest city in Europe offers many places to see nearby.
On the north of Cadiz, at only a half hour drive, there is Jerez de la Frontera, famous for its delicious wines and for the race circuit. Following this direction, in 123 km, we can find Seville, the Capital of Andalusia, located in the valley of the Guadalquivir River.
On the east, at 236 km from Cádiz, we can find Málaga, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the sixth largest city in Spain by population.
In the southeast there is Gibraltar, which is 142 km from Cádiz, Overseas Territory of the United Kingdom.
Going to the west we can find the Athlantic Ocean, while to the north-west there is first the costal city of Huelva, and then the border with Portugal, at 260 km.
