We propose a route through the most emblematic villages of the Alpujarra Granadina, stroll through its labyrinthine streets and discover the highlights of the Andalusian legacy just a few minutes from the capital of Granada. Here are some more details about the excursion to the Alpujarras from Granada.

We will start by heading south, where we will meet Lanjarón, as the first town of the Alpujarra. The route will continue through breathtaking scenery until we reach Pampaneira, one of the highest altitude towns in Spain and Europe. There we will enjoy the breathtaking views of the Poqueira Valley, from where you will be able to take the most incredible pictures as a souvenir.

We will continue the route to Capileira, one of the most picturesque villages of La Alpujarra and Andalusia. We will visit the interpretation centre to explain everything we see on this excursion.

We include a visit to a typical Alpujarra work house, where we will become aware of the methods and ways of life here.
