If you are planning a visit to Seville, the Royal Alcazar is something you cannot miss. Here you will find information on schedules, rates and everything you need to know to visit the Alcazares of Seville.



Schedules of the Alcazares of Seville

The Royal Alcazar of Seville opens its doors uninterruptedly from the morning until well into the afternoon. Throughout the year there are two different schedules:

From October 29th to March 31st:

  • Every day: from 09:30 to 17:00h

From April 1st to October 28th:

  • Every day: from 09:30 to 19:00h

Keep in mind that the entrance to the Alcazares of Seville closes on some holidays: they will be closed on January 1 and 6, Good Friday, and December 25.

Exceptionally, individual night visits are also sometimes offered, on the occasion of small shows or theatrical performances in the Alcázar.



Prices of the Alcazares of Seville

The entrance to the Alcázares of Seville can be done in numerous ways, each with its own rates, discounts, and exceptions. At the official ticket office you will find up to 6 different fares, but you can also arrange a visit with a professional guide and benefit from exceptional rates.

General ticket

Price: €13.50. Includes access to the ground floor of the Palaces and the Alcázar Gardens.

Some EU citizens can benefit from a reduced price of €6 for this ticket:

  • Retirees of +65 years
  • Students between 14 and 30 years old
  • Holders of the European Youth Card

Special entrance to the Cuarto Real Alto: €5.50. It is a partial visit, with only upper access to the Palace of King Don Pedro



Guided tour with preferential access

You can enter the Real Alcázar with an official guide who will ensure that you enjoy your visit to the fullest. Not only that, but this option also allows you to skip all the queues in the sun and get priority access. Without a doubt, a guided tour is the most comfortable and complete way to get to know the Alcázar.

Other fares (filming, photography, celebrations)

If you’re planning to come to the Royal Alcazar to paint, take photographs, shoot a film, celebrate your wedding or other special occasions, you will have to pay a special rate depending on the case:

  • Film with extras: €800/hour
  • Film without extras: €450/hour
  • Photography with extras: €150/hour
  • Photography without extras: €105/hour
  • Wedding photography: €80/hour
  • Outdoor artistic painting: quarterly fee of €21 (€7 per month)
  • Unofficial acts: €8,000
  • Group night visits (less than one hour): €800 + €13.50/person


Who can enter the Alcázar of Seville for free?

Some people can benefit from a free entry, presenting the necessary documentation:

  • Born or resident in Seville Capital
  • Minors up to 13 years old
  • People with more than 33% disability (and their companion)
  • Unemployed in the province of Seville
  • Those who carry out research work or plastic arts
  • ICOMOS members


  • How long does the visit to the Alcazar of Seville last?

    A complete visit can last 2:30 hours, but from the Alcazar they recommend reserving up to 3 hours for a calm visit.

    The partial visit to the Cuarto Real Alto lasts only 25 minutes.
