Description

Antequera has a great historical relevance since the first settlements in the Palaeolithic period, becoming a very important place thanks to its busy commercial activity as a passage between other nearby provinces.

The city of Las Iglesias shows us a popular and peculiar architecture of palaces, white houses, convents, monasteries, as well as spectacular views from the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria to the rest of the city, where you can see its archaeological remains, the Alcazaba and the natural landscape that surrounds it with the Peñon de los Enamorados, the latter will not leave anyone indifferent thanks to its interesting legend.

We will delve into history with a visit to the archaeological site of the Dolmens, declared a cultural asset, and a few kilometres away is the Torcal, a unique natural karst landscape, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.
